- This book is excellent! it came at just the right time for me and has inspired me to work harder on my relationship with God. Cristy's very open and honest account of her struggle is relatable to many people of all walks of life. Her amazing ability to see through the difficulties and pain to find a purpose and answer her calling is truly incredible. I am able to take her words and apply them to my life, to the way I treat other people. Her book will help me dispel my preconceived ideas of what "disability" really looks like and force me to consider what true internal struggle can be. I highly recommend this book!
- Christy’s medical tribulations have taught her important lessons about living, loving, and trusting God. Anyone passing through difficult times - and who doesn’t? - will find her experience helpful. “Life is difficult,†says the Buddha, and all of us can attest to that truth. But life and God are not the same thing. God is good. He cares, he knows, he loves, and he has mysterious ways of helping us through. Christy found that out and her discoveries can help others. The book is a tribute to the power of family and faith, and the certainty that God holds onto us even when we don’t hold onto him.
- I don't have a chronic illness like the writer does, but this book helped me to look at my life from a different perspective. It made me more grateful for the health I have and for the growth that my hardships are creating in me. It's a great reminder that all things work out for the glory of Lord. I had also never heard of POTS before reading this. I now realize that seemingly healthy people might not be. A great reminder to not judge anyone because you don't know what their life is truly like.

- In this book, Cristy brings you along on her journey and invites you to share in her experience with chronic illness - from symptoms, to diagnosis, to treatment, to navigating life as a mom, wife, friend. She writes with humor, humility, clarity, and depth. Her warmth and humanism radiate through the pages. While I am not currently living with chronic illness, her story is relatable, and the message can resonate with anyone. As someone who works in the healthcare industry, I can say that I have learned a whole new way of approaching and encouraging my patients who are depressed and hopeless due to years of pain. The author keeps the narrative entertaining and relatable with anecdotes about her family and provides great resources for those who are fighting to be heard by their healthcare providers.
I, like many others, have struggled with chronic pain and worry. So I understand how consuming it can be. But the biggest thing I have taken from this book is how to step outside of my own problems and look at the bigger picture. Cristy shows you how to focus on God's plan in the midst of your suffering.

I hope you read it. - Having known Cristy, the author, since she was a first grader, and knowing parts of her journey but not all, I eagerly devoured her e-book within three days of purchase on . I'm having difficulty even explaining my reaction...the best way would be to say, YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!!! Especially if you have a chronic illness, it will comfort your soul. Her ability to still praise God even though she felt so sick, makes me ashamed when I complain and forget to praise Him. Thank you, Cristy, for giving me the nudge I needed.
- I have known Cristy since she was a small child. Even back then, she was a perfectionist. She always had a special heart that loved and helped anyone who might need it. I am not surprised that she has been able to write this amazing book of her pain, and the blessings she has gained by turning her life over to God. For me, I feel Cristy has talked directly to me as I also suffer from several chronic diseases. My thoughts are....if Christy can handle her pain, then I feel with so many others that deal with daily pain, that we can do it, too. She speaks to those who think others look healthy, but have no idea the life that has become a new normal for many who suffer silently. Always be kind. You never know what others may be dealing with.
