1000 Places to See in the United States and Canada Before You Die eBook Patricia Schultz Reviews
- I have every version of the 1,000 Places books and each edition just gets better. Patricia Schultz does a fantastic job of keeping the information up to date and accessible to every kind of budget and traveler. These books are my go to Christmas gift that I know everyone will appreciate. Even the fearful flyer will be able to find numerous destinations they can drive to in this US & Canada book!
- Bought this after learning that the Sandhill Crane migration in Nebraska was included in the book. This is a great resource for discovering new places to visit, some nearby for short weekend trips, and others that will require more time to see. I'm thinking of buying of few copies of the book to give as graduation gifts. In a world of people consumed with cell phones, tablets, etc., this book might just provide the impetus to get out there and visit some amazing destinations right here in the United States and Canada.
- A brand new edition with beautiful color photographs just in time for the holidays - this has been my go-to-gift for traveling friends. I love the original 1000 Places world book by the same offer, but this is the perfect reference for the wonders to be found in our North American backyard.
- Fascinating book filled with detail of great and lesser known places throughout the country. I have used it for planning trip both near and far to discover the interesting sites of our country. This purchase is not a disappointment.
- We used an older edition of this book for several years to determine places we'd like to visit and thoroughly enjoyed each one saw. We first found this book available at our local library and checked it out for many years until they deleted it from their collection. We found this newer edition available online so we bought our own copy of it so we can continue to see as many as possible during our lifetime.
- Had been much more useful - now more like advertisements for places to stay..
- I received this when I retired and enjoy it so much that I buy it for friends who are retiring. Each time we travel around the USA I read about what to see along the way. The suggestions have been very good so far.
- Took forever to receive, we ended up canceling the order and placing a new one. The book then arrived seven days later, not sure what went wrong the first time? Bought the book for my father in law and it is very thick and heavy! Extremely small writing making reading difficult for any age. He is using a magnifying glass.
