#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

Winner of ABC's Dancing with the Stars (Season 27)

The #1 New York Times bestselling author of Bare Bones, host of the marquee morning program “The Bobby Bones Show,” comedian and dedicated philanthropist delivers an inspirational and humorous collection of stories about his biggest misses in life and how he turned them into lessons and wins.

Bobby Bones is the youngest inductee ever into the National Radio Hall of Fame alongside legends Dick Clark, Larry King, and Howard Stern. As "the most powerful man in country music" (Forbes), he has reached the peak of his profession and achieved his childhood dreams. Each weekday morning, more than five million fans tune in to his radio show.

But as Bobby reveals, a lot of what made him able to achieve his goals were mistakes, awkward moments, and embarrassing situations—lemons that he turned into lemonade through hard work and humility. In this eye-opening book, he’ll include ideas and motivations for finding success even when seemingly surrounded by impossible odds or tough failures. He also includes anecdotes from some of his famous friends—Andy Roddick, Chris Stapleton, Charlamagne Tha God, Charles Esten, Brooklyn Decker, Walker Hayes and Asa Hutchinson—who open up about their own missteps.

Bobby’s mantra is Fight. Grind. Repeat. A man who refuses to give up, he sees failure as something to learn from—and the recollections in this funny, smart book, full of Bobby’s brand of self-effacing humor, show how he’s become such a beloved goofball.

Fail Until You Don't Fight Grind Repeat Bobby Bones 9780062795823 Books Reviews

  • First of all, a warning. If you listen to the Bobby Bones show, you know Bobby can be all over the place with random side thoughts in the middle of another topic. The book is written the same. I found that to be genuine instead of distracting or confusing. Bobby uses real people with real stories and real failures that helped lead them to their successes. The book is very encouraging for those of us reading who just needed a push. IT’S OK TO FAIL. You don’t succeed without failing. I really enjoyed the book.
  • Buy the audible version! Bobby does a great job with the audio (duh, he's in radio). His first book Bare Bones was amazing so of course I pre-ordered this one and I was very pleasantly surprised. I credit a lot of Bobby's great tips to him being a "grinder" and a "doer" but also it's obvious that all those sessions of therapy he talks about have paid off. I'm thankful to the revelations he's had because some of us can't (yet) afford therapy! 😅

I really admire Bobby- how he is always challenging himself to be a better version of himself; he goes for what he wants and he gets it. That's why I was looking forward to his tips on success. He's one of the few people in the public eye that is down-to-earth and logical enough for me to actually care about his opinion. I appreciate youuuu, Bobby, aka Aristotle of Arkansas;).

  • Read this book! Even if you're not a country music fan or even listen to the Bobby Bones Show. He is inspirational and motivational! 5 stars from a huge fan of the show and Bobby's books!
  • This was a terrible read. I struggled to even get through the book. I am a fan of Bobby Bones and his radio show, but this book was awkward, and beyond repetitive. I have read a ton of books about leadership and inspiration, but this falls very flat. Even the added stories from friends are just kind of contrived and awkward. Listening to his radio show provides far more daily inspiration. His radio segments about great people doing things for others are far more interesting than anything in this book. I really wish folks would put aside their like of Bobby and judge the book for what it is. Don't spend your money on this. If you want to read something from a celebrity about overcoming obstacles and learning from them, read the book by Phil Robertson (yes the Duck Dynasty guy). At least it is interesting. I have no doubt about what a fantastic job Bobby Bones has done to overcome his childhood shortfalls, but none of that comes out in this book.
  • Bobby is a real rags to riches story, he’s the real deal. Buy his book today, you won’t be sorry. Listen to the Bobby Bones Show on iHeartRadio and they have a podcast too. I’ve been listening for 5 years, will make you be a better you!!!
  • I love that bobby is basically still just a regular guy. but look at him go! from humble beginnings in a tiny town in Arkansas (population 700) to the star of THE leading country morning radio show. And now, the come out of nowhere, WINNER of Dancing with the Stars. In this book, BBones details his life philosophy of trying until you succeed. Anecdotes of his morning show co-stars and successful friends (ie sports and music celebrities) in times they failed and then tried again, and again, and again, until they succeeded. If you aren't sure about this book, take the chance. You WONT be disappointed.
  • This is a good book! So different than most self-help books in that it gives you permission to fail. Learning from those failures and continuing on is the best key to success you could ever have. I also love that it includes other successful people and their stories of failing and the lessons learned.
  • This is a great motivational book about overcoming fear and pushing through. BB includes stories from his life and those around him. Great gift for yourself or someone you love. Heck…buy it, and give it to a complete stranger.
